Hello there, thanks for checking out my monsters and what they're all about.
I've always loved working with and entertaining children so I decided to create Yogi Monsters to help them discover their best creative selves. Yogi Monsters provide positive outlets for children to consciously center themselves so that they will want to contribute to their communities in fun and thoughtful ways. With a focus on emotional intelligence, Yogi Monsters encourage individuals to have strong and healthy connections with themselves and others.
I majored in animation and minored in art therapy at Columbus College of Art and Design. For my senior thesis I created an animated version of the first book I wrote and illustrated "Aneeka and Juanito" which is about two best friends monkeys who live on the tropical coast of Parafew, a community of monkeys who love to eat a special fruit called the bana. But the monkeys start to play with their food so much that an unfortunate event takes place, or was it unfortunate? In this story, Aneeka and Juanito share an adventure in which they come to realize the greatness of taking care of their environment.
*Characters are currently being recreated to look less humanoid and more monkey like 😬
And yeah, that's my ridiculous voice over heard in this animation 🙃
